With the online conference we open up a space for the worldwide biodynamic movement. Many wish to participate in the plenary sessions from the Main Auditorium, which we make possible via livestreams.
Furthermore, numerous online contributions delve deeper into topics that are currently relevant in different regions. For example, Manfred Osterroht reports on regenerative agroforestry in Brazil, while Padmini Seshardi presents a biodynamic school garden in Mumbai, India. In various regions of Morocco, Trichoderma spp. has been used as a biological control agent against fungal diseases. The results of this trial are presented by Sara Albatnan.
The contribution by Luise Blank illustrates the influence of biodynamic farming on quality of life, biodiversity and climate change. Glen Atkinson examines the significance of the planets in the Agriculture Course and Leonardo Faedo shows the role of indigenous and cosmological factors in the development of agriculture since the Neolithic.
Two events take place both on-site and online: "Biodynamic Fibres" by Arizona Muse and Konstanza Abouleish and "Biodynamic Apiculture" by Michael Weiler and Johannes Wirz.
Attendees from countries outside of Europe can book the online conference for CHF 25. You are also cordially invited to organize an event in your region to participate in the online conference together as a group. Please write to agriculture.conference if you would like to arrange such a regional event. @goetheanum.ch
