Agricultural Conference 2023
Evolving agriculture – Looking back and looking forward at 100 years of biodynamics
In preparation for the 2024 centenary conference, the upcoming Agriculture Conference from 1-4 February 2023 will look back at the origins of the biodynamic movement and the cultural development of agriculture.
On the one hand we wish to explore and understand the Agriculture Course and how and why this foundation and source of inspiration has acted in different countries for 100 years.
On the other had we will turn our attention to agriculture, whose history goes back for hundreds and even thousands of years. We will attempt to place the impulse of the Agriculture Course in the overall context of agricultural developments, and in this way reach the key question of what our relationship to the earth in the different periods of history means for our human existence and evolution. This historical perspective on the developing consciousness of agriculture can ultimately show us the point which we have now reached and what evolutionary tasks face the biodynamic movement today and in the near future. Further information on the theme of the year is available at:
